2. What we collect

• Email address when you join the waitlist.
• Wedding month/date, only if you choose to provide it.
• County or wedding location, expected guest count and the main reason Wedlinks may help, where you choose to provide these details.
• Whether you are open to a short feedback call before launch.
• Your optional pricing preference, where you choose to answer this validation question.
• Consent record, including consent status, consent timestamp, page source, campaign/source parameters and privacy policy version.
• Basic technical information processed by our website, email and form providers, such as IP address, browser data, submission logs and security logs.

3. Why we use it

• Early access and launch updates: to contact you about Wedlinks.ie and ask whether you remain interested. Legal basis: consent.
• Interest validation: to understand whether there is enough interest to register and launch the business in Ireland, which customer segments show the strongest demand, which product features matter most and what pricing model may be acceptable. Legal basis: consent for the data you submit and legitimate interests for aggregated planning.
• Security and spam prevention: to protect the website and form submissions. Legal basis: legitimate interests.

4. Who receives your data

We use Formspree to receive and process waitlist form submissions. We may also use GoDaddy or another domain, hosting or email provider to operate the website, domain and mailbox.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with wedding suppliers, advertisers or unrelated third parties.

5. International transfers

Formspree is a third-party form provider and may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. During this validation stage, we keep the form data minimal. Before launching any full product, payment functionality or larger marketing campaign, we will review provider contracts and transfer safeguards.

6. How long we keep it

We keep waitlist and validation data for up to 6 months from signup, unless you withdraw consent earlier. This period is intended to be long enough to test demand in Ireland while avoiding unnecessary long-term retention of pre-launch leads. If the project does not proceed, we will delete or anonymise the waitlist data at the end of that period.

If we proceed to launch and you want to continue, we may ask you to confirm your interest under an updated privacy policy. If you unsubscribe, we may keep a minimal suppression record so we do not contact you again.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data. You can also withdraw your consent to early-access emails at any time by contacting contact@wedlinks.ie or using the unsubscribe option in any email we send.

You also have the right to complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission.

8. Marketing emails

We will only send Wedlinks.ie pre-launch, early-access and launch-related emails to people who have joined the waitlist and confirmed consent. Each email should include a clear way to unsubscribe or opt out.

9. No automated decision-making

This pre-launch landing page does not use automated decision-making or profiling. We do not use the waitlist to make legal, financial or eligibility decisions about you.
